Sweet wee Nifty Latty was brought into care after a weekend long rescue effort. This beautiful little girl was spotted looking a bit worse for wear with a brown dirty bottom on the outskirts of an area recently affected by bushfire. Unfortunately her mum, who was also suffering from ‘wet bottom’, could not be located. Latty is getting lots of TLC, fed lots of lush leaf (her favourite is Melaleuca) and has been successfully treated for Chlamydia. She’s not out of the woods yet but we are very hopeful for her recovery. She has been named in honour of Nifty Lift who generously donated a towable work platform for koala rescue and leafing operations, and her rescue location, Latitude One.
