General Maintenance & Gardening

Are you a bit of a handy person? Our maintenance area needs volunteers who can help with a variety of tasks in general maintenance, upkeep and cleanliness of our equipment, tools and vehicles.

Examples of some of the tasks involved include:

• Sharpening and oiling secateurs and pruning shears
• Washing of motor vehicles and plantation equipment
• Assisting in the general maintenance or repair of equipment
• Pressure washing of paths and keeping walkways clear
• Clearing drainage areas that become blocked from leaves and debris
• Construct items to make it easier for our volunteers to care for our animals
