Currently, Port Stephens Koala Hospital (PSKH) has social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. We need Social Media savvy people to assist us in posting accurate and relevant content which serves to inform, educate, alert and raise awareness in the field of koala care, especially within the Port Stephens region. Posts may also attract feedback to which we will always respond with respect and courtesy.
PSKH encourages our community to share content with us, such as photos and stories of their experiences with PSKH. Anyone involved in social media must be willing to adhere to our branding and procedures.
We need volunteers for:
- Analysing social media metrics to track and report on PSKH’s social media and work with our onsite content creators to increase awareness of PSKH, our koalas and wildlife.
- Reviewing our posts and social media data to provide direction on how to maximise our exposure and fundraising via socials.
- Social Media Administration and Community – check and respond to comments and messages across social media platforms. This person is responsible for engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring the brand’s reputation on social media.
- Manage the Image Library and create targeted TikTok clips to expand the account.
You will work with the Social Media Coordinator who will give guidance and training about the role and the good news is that you will be able to do most of the work from home.
If you have excellent communication skills and are able to handle customer service inquiries then make sure that you include Social Media in your volunteer application.
