A safe working environment for our staff and volunteers underpins all we do at PSKH in providing care for sick and injured native animals, particular given the wide range of roles that span from indoor administrative tasks to outdoor work in our yards and plantations involving the use of a range of motorised vehicles and machinery.
To be affective in Work, Health and Safety requires a sound appreciation of the of risks involved in all facets of our organisation and the development of plans to effectively eliminate or at least reduce the likelihood of an incident.
So if you have sound experience in WH&S including risk assessment and management, we can certainly use your skills, so make sure that you let us know when completing volunteer application form.
We rely on adoptions and donations to help save koalas and other native wildlife. As we are a not-for-profit organisation, your generosity will help to cover the inevitable costs.
