Hi there, I’m Jax! In 2019 I tried to outrun a car but unfortunately, the car won. I was found on the side of the road covered in ticks. I was in lots of pain with a broken femur, cuts and scratches. The veterinary team operated to fix my leg but I had to be kept immobile for seven weeks to recover – that’s a long time for a koala to stay in a basket! But it worked. I’m able to climb again however I need to stay at PSKH for ongoing treatment.
