G’day, I’m Klaus. I am an adult male koala and I was a permanent resident at the Koala Hospital. My jaw was a little misaligned so it took me longer to eat my leaf (yep, even slower than most koalas) but I could still smile at my lovely carers when they delivered my meals. Your adoptions have helped to cover some of my medical costs whilst here at the Hospital, so thank you!

Unfortunately Klaus passed away in May 2024. In order to continue to support the ongoing work of the Port Stephens Koala Hospital please consider adopting another one of Klaus’ friends on the Adopt a Koala page.
