Wombat Name: Ronald
Rescued: June 2022
Transferred: Ronald was transferred to Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue where they finished his rehabilitation and released him.
Reason Ronald came into care: Ronald was orphaned after his mother was hit by a car, sadly he was not old enough to be on his own and needed around the clock care.
Treatment provided: Luckily Ronald was not injured, but he still needed a ‘mother hen’ for the time he was at Port Stephens Koala Hospital and to be provided with everything he needed to grow up big and strong.
Estimated cost of treatment while in care; $2,000
