We rely on adoptions and donations to help save koalas and other native wildlife. As we are a not-for-profit organisation, your generosity will help to cover the inevitable costs.
We have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status which makes it easier for us to fundraise to support the ongoing work of Port Stephens Koala Hospital.

During my 8 continuous years of service, I have held the roles of Vice- President, Secretary and now President. The period has been one of constant change and growth where we now rank as one of the premier wildlife organisations in Australia and the only triple licenced wildlife facility in NSW.
I am immensely proud to have designed and commissioned the Port Stephens Koala Hospital that now has 200 front line volunteers and 14 staff including our own veterinary surgeon and two veterinary nurses.
The organisation has experienced expotential growth reflected by Federal and State government support totalling $5 million in funding for infrastructure expansion and operational costs.
I am a carer and rescuer and know first-hand the commitment required for home care having assisted my wife Marion for several years in this often-heart-breaking work.
I am pleased to have delivered to PSKH Deductible Gift Register status and substantial corporate and Government support which has allowed us to build our asset base to $3.1 million from $228,000 7 years ago.
I am especially proud of the organisation that has been built and the people that make it work and with your ongoing support we will continue to successfully meet all current and future challenges as we strive on multiple levels to prevent the extinction of koalas in Port Stephens and provide veterinary care to multiple wildlife species.
