Hello, my name is Merri. I was brought into PSKH after being hit by a car, not once but twice, in Medowie, NSW. I was very badly hurt and unfortunately, the joey I was carrying did not survive. I suffered from a broken leg, nose, eye and jaw. Ouch! It was a slow, painful recovery and lots of rehab. But thankfully, I was able to be released in March 2024, near where I was found, and my rescuer was able to wave me off which was extra special for us both.
